- SUB Summer
It's time for CramJam once again, and this time its a tropical extravaganza!
For those who don't know, CramJam comes twice a year and it's a great way to take some time off from studying the night before exams start. From 10 p.m. until 1 a.m. SUB and RSA will be in Harden Dining Hall with a lot of free stuff for you to enjoy!
From 10 to midnight you can get free breakfast food in the dining hall served by your professors, or maybe if your lucky Dr. Smith Jackson and President Leo Lambert! Plus throughout the whole night, SUB has entertainment for everyone! There will be Wii bowling, a chance to make your own personalized white board and licenses plates, and of course FREE MASSAGES (if you sign up in time, that is).
And all night we'll be playing great music and have performances from Elon's a cappella groups too! So come join us for some fun before finals!! Don't miss out on all the cool free stuff you can get.
To sign up for massages, come up to Moseley 207!
Weekends are big around here, and this one's fully stacked for you. We kick off on Thursday with Twisted Measure at Midnight Meals. Starting at 11pm, Elon's barefoot singing sensation and first co-ed A Capella group will wow you with performances of popular songs using only their voices! Beatbox percussion and layered melodies bring a unique depth and life to these songs like you've never heard before. Join us in Irazu for some free food and a great night with Twisted Measure.
Friday is a day you definitely don't want to forget about. First we have our monthly Movie Run from 6pm-7pm, that time of the month where SUB sells you discounted movie tickets. Instead of going to Alamance Crossing and paying $9.50 to see American Reunion or the Hunger Games or any movie of your choice, you can buy a movie ticket from us for only $5! That's almost half off regular price. So save some money on your next movie night by coming to Moseley Front Desk from 6pm-7pm to get a $5 ticket! (Only 2 tickets per student, cash and Phoenix Cash only)
Then Friday Night we have SUB's second outdoor music festival SUBLive's Rock the Lawn 2012. Last year, SUB began a brand new adventure in live music with an outdoor student music festival. Working in tandem with Limelight Records we produced Rock the Lawn, a one day outdoor concert featuring student bands and performers. It was an amazing show, but for Rock the Lawn 2012, we're stepping up our game.
Rock the Lawn 2012 will feature student musical performers Undercover Pizza Cops, Lizzy Bassen, and Josh Bonney with Headlining performance by Aer, a reggae/hip-hop inspired duo from Massachusetts.
Performances start at 6:30pm on Friday 4/20 on the Collonnades Quad with a free BBQ buffet.
For more info, check out the Facebook event or info page.
On Saturday, we round out the weekend with SUBCinema: Sherlock Holmes 2 starring Robert Downey Jr. Some people thought this was last weekends movie, but here it is now so don't miss the showing at 8pm on Young Commons (front of Moseley) or in Irazu if the weather is bad.

ome learn some late night gut-busting glute-toning moves with the exercise sensation sweeping the nation: ZUMBA! Midnight Meals on April 5th SUB will be doing Zumba at 11pm in Irazu Coffee Shop. Come shed those Spring Break pounds with SUB! We'll have some refreshments provided after the action!
