Behinds the scenes of every SUB event are an important team of event planners and staff that make it all possible! Assisting every Executive board member at each event is a committee, a group of students dedicated to planing and running amazing events for their fellow students. Each member will be trained in the responsibilities of running a SUB event including:

  • Contracting artists or vendors
  • Corresponding with agencies, managers, and companies
  • Arranging travel and hospitality plans
  • Managing artists
  • Planning event logistics such as time, location, security, etc.
  • Coordinating day-of-show (making sure everything runs as planned)
  • Event set-up and take down

These members are organized into 3 committees:

Music/Stage

The Music and Stage committee does all the big stuff! This committee is responsible for the Spring Show, as well as the larger stage events throughout the year. Past Stage events include: Bo Burnham, Sarah Colonna, Evil Never Dies Murder Mystery, Jim Tavare, and The Second City.

SUBLive

This committee runs all of SUB's Friday night programming. Always a live performance, SUBLive can be a band, singer, comedian, or open mic night. The possibilities are endless with SUBLive.

Special Events

Special Events runs all the other SUB events you could think of. They coordinate and staff CramJam, run monthly SUBSwag, the weekly SUBCinema, and Movie Runs.
