Yes it's true ladies and gentlemen, SUB's Spring Show 2012 features headliner Mac Miller and opening act The White Panda on March 30th at 7pm in Alumni Gym. The show will also feature The Cool Kids and The Come Up as opening acts.

Tickets are $20 for students, 2 per phoenix card, and are purchasable online (via the link at the top of the page) or at Moseley tables with Phoenix Cash or real cash.

Public Tickets are also available for $25 online (link at top). No limit to number purchased.

All tickets raise to $27 on the Day of the Show (Public or Student)

This is an Elon sponsored event. There is NO ALCOHOL or illicit substances permitted on the premisses. Once inside the show there is no re-admittance, you may not leave and come back. 

For the first time at Elon (as far as we can remember) SUB is bringing bands from all around campus to compete in one EPIC BATTLE. And what's a battle without a prize? Nothing, that's what. And the winners of this totally bodacious competition of skill and might will receive the most noble honor of opening for AER at Rock the Lawn in April. All bands of Elon students may enter, metal, rock, pop, cover, kazoo, or whatever genre they may be. The Battle goes down March 9 at 8pm in McKinnon Hall. Entry to the event is free, and entry into the contest is free, and you know what else is free? The food. Sooo much free pizza!

Another weekend os SUB is starting tonight with Rip_Chord at Midnight Meals. Rip_Chord is Elon's only all male A Cappella group, singing awesome vocal-only covers of popular songs! Instead of that boring "singing to music" stuff some people do, Rip_Chord makes all the music and beats using only their voices (and maybe some stomping or clapping, but no other music). It's pretty boss. Come see Rip_Chord perform at 11 p.m. in Irazu for Midnight Meals! You get a bunch of free food too, like tacos or wings or pizza. Super fun.

Then tomorrow night, SUBLive continues it's SUBLaughs comedy series stand-up comedian Adam Grabowski. Adam was Campus Activities Magazine's Highest Rated Comedian in 2011, so you know you'll be laughing! As always, free pizza and refreshment at 8pm in Irazu.

Finally, SUB ends the week with SUBCinema, our weekly free movie! This saturday's showing is New Years' Eve, the star-studded feel good movie showing the intertwining lives of couples on New Years' Eve. The movie starts at 8pm in Irazu.

Next week, SUB is having it's first Battle of the Bands on March 9th! All bands on campus can join the battle for a chance to win two slots in Rock the Lawn, SUB's outdoor music festival on April 20th headlined by AER!
